NFLSU: How former LSU players fared in the NFL’s Week 13

Former LSU running back Leonard Fournette of the Tampa Bay Bucs (No. 7) caught a 3-yard scoring pass from Tom Brady on Sunday after Fournette beat the pass coverage of Atlanta linebacker and former LSU star Deion Jones (No. 45).

Two former LSU wide receivers had 11-catch performances on Sunday in the NFL’s Week 13, but their teams didn’t win.

Second-year pro Justin Jefferson of the Minnesota Vikings had 11 receptions (in 14 targets) for 182 yards, including a 3-yard TD with 1:50 left to play that would have been the game-winner if Detroit’s Jared Goff hadn’t thrown a game-winning walkoff TD in a 29-27 Lions win.

Also, fourth-year pro Russell Gage of the Atlanta Falcons had 11 catches (in 12 targets) for 130 receiving yards in a 30-17 home loss to the Tampa Bays Bucs. The Bucs scored the first TD of the game when former LSU running back Leonard Fournette caught a 3-yard scoring pass while beating the pass coverage of Atlanta linebacker and former LSU star Deion Jones.
