LSU volleyball notches first sweep in conference play against South Carolina

LSU breezed past South Carolina for a sweep of its Southeastern Conference match 25-18, 25-13, 25-21 Sunday at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

LSU (12-8, 6-4 SEC) registered its first sweep in conference play and sixth of the season.

Outside hitter Sanaa Dotson landed 15 kills to lead the Tigers. She finished with six digs and one ace. Setters Josie Vondran and Maddie Waak each had 16 assists and five digs in the win, while Vondran also had three blocks and two kills. Libero Ella Larkin posted a match-high 17 digs to go along with four assists and a kill.

Anita Anwusi, Hannah Jacobs and Alia Williams all tied with four blocks.
