LSU suspends lineman Adrian Magee indefinitely

LSU’s banged up offensive line took another hit in depth on Wednesday.

The program announced an indefinite suspension for sophomore Adrian Magee, citing “a violation of team rules.”

According to an arrest report obtained by WBRZ’s Michael Cauble, Magee was arrested April 1 for felony burglary. Magee, the report says, broke into the apartment just before midnight, wearing his LSU uniform. When the victim returned, Magee “stuck his head in” to inquire about the burglary. The victim – an LSU fan who recognized Magee – told Magee the apartment had video surveillance, and Magee shortly after returned some of the items stolen.

Magee redshirted his first year and appeared in three contests last year. He spent the spring working at right tackle in the absence of injured starter Toby Weathersby. He signed with LSU in 2015 as a four-star guard prospect from Franklinton High School in Franklinton, La., according to ESPN and 247.

The Tigers were absent Weathersby and starting center Will Clapp this spring, but both project to be available in the fall.
