Colby Delahoussaye is back home in Louisiana.
The LSU place kicker confirmed as much in a statement released via his personal twitter, his first public comment since sustaining “minor injuries” in a fatal car crash that claimed the lives of Nebraska punter Sam Foltz and former Michigan State punter Mike Sadler in Wisconsin over the weekend.
“I want to say thank you so very much for all the thoughts and prayers, it truly means so much to me and my family,” Delahoussaye wrote. “I am back in Louisiana and have very minor injuries and will recover back to 100% in a very short amount of time.
“The main thing I want every one to focus on is sending many prayers to Mike and Sam’s families. They need prayers now more than ever. They were amazing friends and I will miss them dearly.”
