The LSU place kicker confirmed as much in a statement released via his personal twitter, his first public comment since sustaining “minor injuries” in a fatal car crash that claimed the lives of Nebraska punter Sam Foltz and former Michigan State punter Mike Sadler in Wisconsin over the weekend.

“The main thing I want every one to focus on is sending many prayers to Mike and Sam’s families. They need prayers now more than ever. They were amazing friends and I will miss them dearly.”
