LSU lands commitment from 3-star lineman Patrick Jenkins

LSU head coach Ed Orgeron continues to add pieces to his 2020 class, the latest being Marrero-native two-way lineman Patrick Jenkins.

Jenkins received an offer after a top-notch performance at LSU’s annual football camp, according to reports from 247Sports, which ranks him as a three-star prospect with a 0.8789 Composite score likely to play defensive tackle at the collegiate level.

Jenkins has received offers from TCU, Arizona and Arkansas, among other.

Standing 6-foot-2, 285 pounds, Jenkins makes the sixth defensive lineman to commit to LSU’s 2020 class. He joins defensive tackles CamRon Jackson and Jordan Berry along with defensive ends Demon Clowney, Alec Bryant and Ali Gaye.
