LSU is officially shifting focus to its Week 1 matchup against Clemson with just two weeks of preseason practice remaining. Lane Kiffin led the Tigers’ second preseason scrimmage on Saturday as the coaching staff decides its final depth chart and rotations for the opener. A new wrench could be thrown into the final roster outlook, though, with fifth-year senior transfers Junior Tuihalamaka, a Notre Dame defensive end, and Dae’Quan Wright, Kiffin’s former Ole Miss tight end, committed to joining the Tigers after being granted another season of eligibility by a Baton Rouge judge.
Kiffin talked college football roster chaos and and gave some insight on his first LSU roster and Saturday’s scrimmage from the Team Room at LSU Football Ops after practice Monday.
