No. 10 LSU (4-2, 1-2 Southeastern Conference) fell on the road at Kentucky (5-1, 3-1 SEC) 35-34 in overtime on Saturday night. The Wildcats and first-year coach Will Stein won their second straight overtime SEC contest with a walk-off two-point conversion. Notre Dame Transfer quarterback Kenny Minchey orchestrated a nine play, 67 yard drive capped off by an Adam Zouagui field goal to force overtime and then ran in the game-winning two-point score in overtime.
Stein met with local reporters after the field-storming win in Lexington, Kentucky.
