WR Travin Dural vs. CB Jalen “Teez” Tabor

It wouldn’t be a proper preview of a game between the two programs perennially jockeying for the title of “DBU” without highlighting one of the nation’s best cornerbacks. Tabor, like Vernon Hargreaves and Joe Hayden before him, is a physical, man-to-man corner who can blanket an opponent’s top receiver by himself. Tabor likes to gamble, making him susceptible to the big play, particularly with safety Marcus Maye lost for the season to a broken arm. Tabor leads the SEC with four interceptions already this season, so testing him to get the ball to Dural — or whoever Tabor lines up opposite — will be a risk/reward proposition for Danny Etling.

BY THE NUMBERS

1.33 — The Gators lead the Southeastern Conference at 1.33 interceptions per game

28 — Dural is presently tied with Malachi Dupre for the team lead at 28 receptions
