SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey is personally attending today’s eligibility hearing at the 19th Judicial District Court in Baton Rouge.

Proceedings began promptly at 11 a.m. in Courtroom 10C, which is filled to capacity. Approximately 40 plaintiffs are present. I was briefly admitted but ordered out by the bailiff because no seats remained. A sheriff’s deputy at the door is working with me to gain entry as soon as a seat becomes available.

Courtroom 10C is roughly half the size of the courtroom on the 11th floor. That larger courtroom is occupied by another trial, although only five people are presently inside.

Tiger Rag is on the scene and will report developments as access permits.
