Fall Camp Report: Day Five

The LSU football team showed up to practice in full pads for the first time this fall, though physicality remained limited during the media viewing portion of practice.

Once again, cornerback Kristian Fulton, linebacker K’Lavon Chaisson and safety Grant Delpit were absent. Early Tuesday morning during a radio interview on Off The Bench, LSU head coach Ed Orgeron attributed the absences to “minor injuries.”

Tight end T.K. McLendon could be seen back in action wearing a gold no-contact jersey. Other absences included freshman offensive lineman Kardell Thomas, who misses his third consecutive practice, wide receiver Derrick Dillon, center Charles Turner and linebacker Soni Fonua.

Practice itself looked similar to what it’s looked like throughout the first week of fall camp, with Joe Brady paying special attention to running backs.

Ed Orgeron will speak to the media Tuesday evening at approximately 6:45 p.m.
