Documents: LSU Board to vote on proposed Joe Brady contract, Bill Busch extension

A lucrative extension for LSU coach Ed Orgeron won’t be the only football items on the agenda when the Board of Supervisors convenes Wednesday morning.

The Board will vote on a proposed contract for new passing game coordinator Joe Brady as well as a proposed one-year extension for safeties coach Bill Busch, according to a Board agenda released Monday afternoon.

Brady will receive a three-year contract worth $400,000 a year through 2022. Jerry Sullivan, his retired predecessor, earned $450,000 in the same position last season.

Busch, who was hired last offseason, received a one-year extension and a raise of $50,000 a year. He’ll now earn $425,000 annually through the 2021 season, provided the deal is approved.

The Board of Supervisors meeting is scheduled to convene on Wednesday at 9 a.m.
