LSU sophomore DJ Pickett is primed to be the next shutdown cornerback in the Tigers’ DBU tradition. After a stellar true freshman season where he played all 13 games and made three starts, he switched his jersey number to No. 5, the number LSU Heisman Trophy-winning QB Jayden Daniels wore, and all hell broke loose. Pickett got the chance to address Daniels’ cease-and-desist letter and break down his fall camp so far in a post-practice press conference with Baton Rouge media Thursday.
