LSU linebacker Whit Weeks was downgraded to out, tight end Trey’Dez Green was taken off the injury list and four Crimson Tide players, including three starters, were left as game-time decisions on the final Southeastern Conference Availability report released before the No. 14 Tigers and No. 5 Alabama kick off at 2:30 p.m. in Tiger Stadium on Saturday.
Weeks had been listed as doubtful as he attempted to return from a fractured fibula suffered in LSU’s win over Texas A&M. Green was a late addition to the injury report on Friday night but will be available for the Tigers after being left off the game-time report. Weeks joins defensive tackle Richard Anderson, safety Dashawn Spears, wide receiver Phillip Wright III and linebacker Charles Ross, who were all previously ruled out.
Bama previously listed five starters as questionable on the first two reports before upgrading center Racin Delgatty, wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams and defensive tackle Terrance Green to probable on Friday. That trio is no longer on the report, but starting cornerback Zabien Brown, starting guard William Sanders and rotational running back EJ Crowell were all named game-time decisions along with backup quarterback Jett Thomalla. Backup running back AK Dear is also not listed after being upgraded to probable on Friday.
Out for the Tide are linebacker Desmond Umeozulu, linebacker Cayden Jones, offensive lineman Casey Poe, offensive lineman Jared Graham and defensive lineman Jeremiah Beaman.
