Star LSU tight end Trey’Dez Green made his return from a knee injury that sidelined him for four games in LSU’s last game against Auburn before the bye week. The junior hauled in five catches for 50 yards and a touchdown in his first game back on the field, and he is looking to continue building his impact as he settles back into the offense. Green was the Tigers’ top receiver and one of the nation’s most dynamic tight ends before suffering the injury against Ole Miss, and he will have his chance to show Tiger fans what they have been missing as No. 15 LSU (6-2, 3-2 Southeastern Conference) hosts No. 9 Alabama (6-2, 4-2 SEC) on Saturday (2:30 p.m., ABC).
Green spoke with reporters after practice on Tuesday as the Tigers prepare for a pivotal matchup with the Crimson Tide.
