SEC coaches select Morris, Reese to preseason women’s first team

Tigers predicted to finish third

LSU’s Alexis Morris and Angel Reese were named to the preseason All-SEC first team on Wednesday morning by the league’s coaches and the Tigers were selected to finish third in the conference.

Morris and Reese were selected to the All-SEC second team by the league’s media’s contingent. The Tigers were also tabbed LSU to finish third in the conference.

Morris was also named the Nancy Lieberman Award Top-20 watch list and Reese was on the watch list for the Katrina McClain Award.

Reese was also featured on Wednesday’s All-America Second Team released by The Athletic.

LSU will host its first exhibition game Thursday at 7 p.m. against Mississippi College. Fans are admitted free to the game.
