Mother Nature has caused a subtle shift in LSU’s weekend schedule.

First pitch for the middle game of the Tigers’ three-game set with Ball State has been pushed back to 6:30 p.m. Event staff at Alex Box Stadium confirmed to Tiger Rag that they’d been notified of the change prior to Friday’s series opener.

LSU confirmed the news with a release just prior to first pitch Friday night. The game, originally scheduled to begin at 2 p.m., was moved back due to severe weather in the forecast for Saturday morning. The rain is expected to subside as the afternoon goes on, per the current forecast.

Sophomore Alex Lange is still expected to make the start for LSU.
