Former LSU running backs coach Jabbar Juluke has found a new home — his old one.

Less than a week after being reassigned by Ed Orgeron, the New Orleans native has landed a job at Texas Tech, the school announced Tuesday.

Juluke, who spent a month in Lubbock last offseason before bolting Baton Rouge, will serve as associate head coach and running backs coach for the Red Raiders.

“I’m excited to join the staff Coach Kingsbury has assembled,” Juluke said in an official TTU release. “Coach Kingsbury is very highly respected as one of the top offensive coaches in the country, so I’m looking forward to building on Texas Tech’s success the past few seasons.”

Orgeron continues to search for replacement for Juluke and wide receivers coach Dameyune Craig, who was fired in conjuncture with Juluke’s reassignment.
