The New Orleans Saints pulled off an unlikely season sweep of reigning Super Bowl champion Tampa Bay.

With former LSU linebacker Kwon Alexander part of New Orleans’ defensive wizardry, the Saints became the first team since 2006 to shutout a Tom Brady-quarterbacked team with a 9-0 road win Sunday over Tampa Bay.

The Saints also defeated the Buccaneers 37-26 in New Orleans on Oct. 31.

New Orleans (7-7) kept its hopes alive a wild card berth, while stopping Tampa Bay’s hopes of nailing down its first NFC South title since 2007.

New Orleans forced Brady into an interception and fumble shutout the NFL’s No. 1 offense which came into the game averaging 31.5 points per game.

Former Heisman Trophy winner, quarterback Joe Burrow, combined for 182 total yards and threw for a touchdown in Cincinnati’s 15-10 road win over the Denver Broncos.
