LSU’s Safiya Carrington selected to LSWA’s All-Louisiana women’s tennis first team

LSU women’s tennis junior Safiya Carrington was named to the 2022 All-Louisiana First Team by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association. 

It was the third straight All-Louisiana selection for Carrington, earning a spots on the second team in each of the 2020 and ’21 seasons. She finished the past season with 11 wins in singles play, including wins over four ranked opponents, and had nine wins in doubles play.
