LSU junior tight end Trey’Dez Green was helped off the field at the start of the fourth quarter against Ole Miss after suffering an apparent right leg injury. He was carted to the locker room, and LSU Radio announced he is doubtful to return.
Green, who wears No. 7 for the Tigers along with linebacker Whit Weeks, looked to be in serious pain after taking a hit to the right knee after a 19-yard reception.
Green was LSU’s leading receiver when he exited the game, catching all four of his targets for 60 yards. The Zachary High product has emerged as one of the Tigers’ top pass catchers, leading the team with 162 receiving yards and a touchdown on 10 catches through the first two games.
