LSU Soccer Will Try To End 3-Match Losing Streak Against Arizona On Sunday

TEMPE, Arizona – The LSU Soccer team (1-4-0) returns to Sun Devil Soccer Stadium on Sunday, August 29 to take on Arizona (2-1-0) at 12 p.m. CT. The Tigers and Wildcats will meet for the third time in program history.

LSU (1-4) is looking to end its three-match losing streak, which were all by one goal – 2-1 to Central Florida, 3-2 to Florida Gulf Coast and 1-0 at Arizona State here Thursday. Arizona (2-1) has won two straight over New Mexico State and Gonzaga. The match will not be available on any streaming networks, but Live stats are available. 

LSU holds a 2-1 lead in all-time matchups against Arizona, including a 2-0 win in the last meeting in 2021 at LSU.

The Tigers will return home to host Baylor on Thursday before traveling to Miami-Ohio next Sunday to conclude non-conference play. LSU will begin Southeastern Conference action on Sept. 11 against Tennessee at 7 p.m. at LSU.
