LSU earned an overall performance Pro Football Focus grade of 83.6 for its 38-17 win over Auburn on Saturday. It is the second straight week with a grade higher than 80 and the third-highest team grade this season behind wins over Louisiana Tech and McNeese State.
Five Highest Graded Tigers
WR Jackson Harris – 90.2
CB DJ Pickett – 84.6
QB Sam Leavitt – 84.0
DE Jordan Ross – 74.6
RB Caden Durham – 72.7
Harris finds himself near the top of the Tigers’ PFF rankings in back to back weeks. He set career highs with nine receptions for 178 yards and had his third two-touchdown performance of the season. He caught both of his contested targets and totaled 73 yards after the catch thanks to a 70-yard catch and run touchdown.
Pickett earned his highest grade of the season after recording two tackles, one of which was for a loss and two pass break-ups. He was targeted five times and allowed just one catch for 1 yard. He also got away with a pass interference that was not called in the first half.
That looked like pass interference vs. LSU CB DJ Pickett in end zone. He did turn his head to the ball, but he was also pushing the WR. It’s 3-3.

Like his top receiver, Leavitt was one of the top-graded Tigers for a second week in a row. He completed 32 of 45 passes for 387 yards and three touchdowns and ran eight times for 54 yards and a score.
Ross, too, was a top performer a week ago as he stepped up when Princewill Umanmielen exited early. Against Auburn, he had two sacks, four tackles and a pass break-up. He had a pass rush win rate of 17.9% and his average depth of tackle was -1 yard.
Durham played only 11 offensive snaps against the Tigers in a rare appearance this season, but he took three carries for 22 yards and had a 7-yard reception called back by a holding penalty against left tackle Jordan Seaton. Durham has only played 53 snaps all season, 26 of which came against McNeese, and he had just nine carries for 14 yards entering the trip to Auburn.
Five Lowest Graded Tigers
WR Tre’ Brown – 48.2
WR Winston Watkins Jr. – 54.8
CB Ja’Keem Jackson – 58.1
RT Weston Davis – 58.4
LG William Satterwhite II – 58.9
Brown played only 11 snaps and did not receive a target. He was given a 60 grade as a run blocker and was flagged for one penalty.
Watkins posted a grade lower than 60 for the second week in a row and third time this season. After starting the year as one of the Tigers’ top receivers, he caught four of six targets for 40 yards and had one drop on Saturday.
Jackson, the Tigers’ No. 3 cornerback, played 17 snaps against Auburn. He was targeted one time and allowed a 17-yard catch, earning him a 57.8 coverage grade.
Davis still has yet to record a PFF grade higher than 70 this season. He received a 51.4 run blocking grade and a 66.4 pass blocking grade, the lowest of the LSU offensive linemen. He allowed the Tigers’ only sack and gave up three hurries.
Satterwhite was LSU’s second-lowest graded player against Mississippi State and received his fifth grade lower than 60 this season. He allowed one hurry and earned a 73.1 pass blocking grade, but received a 52.5 run blocking grade.
