LSU Men’s Tennis Sweeps Tulane 7-0 On Tuesday Evening

The No. 21 LSU men’s tennis team completed a 7-0 clean sweep against Tulane on Tuesday evening at the LSU Tennis Complex to stay undefeated on the year.

SINGLES COMPETITION

Olaf Pieczkowski (LSU) def. Daniel Phillips (TUL) 2-0 (6-4, 6-1)

Enzo Kohlmann (LSU) def. Alec Gaudin (TUL) 2-0 (6-3, 6-4)

Andrej Loncarevic (LSU) def. Lance Nisbet (TUL) 2-0 (6-2, 7-5)

Matias Ponce de Leon (LSU) def. Steven Rice (TUL) 2-0 (6-2, 6-1)

Sasa Markovic (LSU) def. Piotr Andrzejewski (TUL) 2-0 (6-1, 6-3)

Rudy Ceccon (LSU) def. Andres Delgadillo (TUL) 2-0 (6-3, 6-4)

DOUBLES COMPETITION

Sasa Markovic/Andrej Loncarevic (LSU) fell to Daniel Phillips/Lance Nisbet (TUL) 4-6

Olaf Pieczkowski/Enzo Kohlmann (LSU) def. Alec Gaudin/AJ Mercer (TUL) 6-1

Matias Ponce de Leon/Rudy Ceccon (LSU) def. Steven Rice/Asaf Friedler (TUL) 6-4

LSU (6-0) will travel to Waco, Texas, this weekend to compete in the ITA National Indoor Championships, where the Tigers will face an opponent to be determined on Friday.
