LSU men’s golf in sixth place heading into final round of Isleworth Collegiate Invitational

LSU’s men’s golf team is in sixth place among 14 squads after the first two rounds of the Isleworth Collegiate Invitational hosted at the Isleworth Golf & Country in Windermere, Florida.

The Tigers are at 6-over par 582, carding identical 3-over 291 rounds on Sunday and Monday. LSU is 13 shots behind co-leaders Auburn and Arizona State which are tied at 7-under.

Senior Garrett Barber is in a tie for sixth place among the individual leaders at 4-under 140 after scoring an even par 72 in the second round. His first round of 4-under 68 is LSU’s only sub-70 score of the tourney.

Freshman Cohen Trolio is tied for 16^th at even 144, sophomore Nichiolas Arcement is tied for 42^nd at 6-over 150, senior Michael Sanders is tied for 48^th at 7-over 151 and senior Trey Winstead is tied for 52^nd at 8-over 152.

The tourney, LSU’s final action on its fall schedule, concludes Tuesday.
