LSU has already landed two commitments in the 2017 class in Louisiana wings Galen Alexander and Brandon Rachal, but that doesn’t mean Johnny Jones and his staff are done on the recruiting trail.

The Tigers are hosting 2017 shooting guard Rylan Bergersen this weekend for the Ole Miss game, bringing a 6-foot-5 wing with a sweet stroke in for a look around campus.

Bergersen is a Boise, Idaho native and the son of former Boise State star Roberto Bergersen. He averaged 15.5 points per game as a senior at Borah High School last year, shooting 53 percent from the floor and 41 percent from 3, before heading to prep school at Link Year in Branson, Mo. He spent the spring and summer playing for Team Fast on the Adidas Uprising circuit, averaging 12.9 points per game on 44 percent 3-point shooting — the fourth-highest mark among players with at least 100 attempts from behind the arc.

The Tigers are certain to have two scholarships open next year after the departures of seniors Brian Bridgewater and Brandon Eddlestone.

Bergersen and his family took in practice on Friday night and will be in attendance for LSU-Ole Miss on Saturday evening.
