Senior defensive end Princewill Umanmielen was one of four transfers to move from Ole Miss to LSU after head coach Lane Kiffin took his new job in Baton Rouge. He was a star for the Rebels’ defense in 2025, recording nine sacks and 13 tackles for loss. He will look to have a similar impact in coordinator Blake Baker’s defense that did not have a DE with more than two sacks last season. Umanmielen met with media in the Team Room of LSU Football Ops following practice on Thursday.
