LSU starting center Braelin Moore, who was the Southeastern Conference offensive lineman of the week after the Tigers’ opening win at No. 4 Clemson on Aug. 30, is expected play in No. 3 LSU’s SEC opener against Florida Saturday at Tiger Stadium (6:30 p.m., ABC) after recovering from an ankle injury last week against Louisiana Tech.

“Braelin took all the reps today with the first team. He’s ready to go,” LSU coach Brian Kelly said Thursday after practice. Moore, a junior transfer from Virginia Tech, is key to the Tigers’ rebuilt offensive line that lost four starters from last season to the NFL Draft. And the only remaining starter – sophomore center DJ Chester – is Moore’s backup.

Moore was upgraded from questionable early in the week to probable on Friday in LSU’s final availability report to the SEC office.

Moore injured his ankle on the first play of LSU’s win over Tech and left the game for good. He returned from the locker room wearing a protective boot on his injured ankle and spent the rest of the game on the sidelines.

Tight end Trey’Dez Green (knee) opened the week marked as questionable after getting hurt in the fourth quarter against Tech. He was downgraded to doubtful on Friday.

“Trey’Dez was out on the field today, catching balls, moving around,” Kelly said on Thursday. “He’s going to be probably a game time decision. He’s not where we need him to be today, but we still have some time.”

Green has worked on a treadmill and done hydrotherapy.

“He was moving around,” Kelly said later Thursday night on his weekly radio show. “He did a little bit of work on the field today for the first time in equipment. He’ll catch balls tomorrow (Friday), and then we’ll see how he feels. If he is out this weekend, he’s not going to be out very long. And that’s the good news.”

Sophomore transfer wide receiver Destyn Hill (hand) from Florida State was upgraded to probable on Friday after being questionable early in the week. He started the opener at Clemson, but did not play last week. He had no catches or targets at Clemson.

Reserve true freshman defensive tackle Zion Williams was listed as out on Friday as he is in concussion protocol, Kelly said. Williams played in the opener at Clemson, but did not play against Louisiana Tech.
