A vastly new look LSU volleyball team, boosted by three graduate transfers, faces a challenging 2022 schedule announced Thursday.
The schedule features three home tournaments and five road trips plus postseason play.
The Tigers lost two grad students and seven seniors, four of which were the heart and soul of building the program into a national powerhouse. Last season, LSU finished 27-9 and lost in the NCAA tournament consolation bracket semifinals to eventual national runner-up UCLA.
Ashlyn Rasnick-Pope, Kelli Greene-Agnew, Sydney Moore and Allison Coens are the returning players who have seen significant time on the court.
Graduate transfers Bella Bauman (Grand Canyon), Hollie Carlton (Florida) and Kylie Deberg (Missouri) should be vital parts of the 2022 team.
