tigers linebacker TJ Dottery has quickly become a leader and playmaker in the middle of the Bayou Bandits defense. The Ole Miss transfer has stepped up with Whit Weeks sidelined and leads the team with 42 tackles this season. The Tigers (4-2, 1-2 Southeastern Conference) fell to No. 22 in the Associated Press Poll after their 35-34 overtime loss to Kentucky (5-1, 3-1 SEC) and are now preparing to host No. 16 Mississippi State (4-1, 1-1) on Saturday (11 a.m., ESPN).
Dottery spoke with Baton Rouge reporters on Tuesday about leadership after the loss with Weeks out and preparing for a dynamic Bulldogs offense.
