Ole Miss transfer wide receiver Winston Watkins Jr. made a splash in his first game as a Tiger. The sophomore led the Tigers with seven receptions for 110 yards and a touchdown in their 51-10 win over Clemson on Saturday. He has been one of quarterback Sam Leavitt’s top targets this offseason, and his familiarity in coach Lane Kiffin and coordinator Charlie Weis Jr.’s offense has helped him get off to a hot start.
Watkins met with local media in the Team room at LSU Football Ops on Tuesday to recap transferring from Ole Miss to LSU and his explosive debut.
