LSU coach Lane Kiffin is not stopping with just two additions from the Temporary Restraining Order transfer portal.
Just hours after discussing the historic transfer of NFL tight end Dae’Quan Wright of the Cleveland Browns to his LSU Tigers on Monday, Kiffin received a commitment from former Saints rookie defensive tackle Zxavian Harris, who was cut by New Orleans three weeks ago.
Wright, a former Ole Miss player for Kiffin last season, was just cut by Cleveland after dressing out for a Browns’ preseason game on Saturday night.
Harris (6-foot-8, 330 pounds) made 58 tackles last season with three sacks as a senior in 2025 at Ole Miss in what he thought at the time was his last season. But he is one of the college athletes from the class of 2022 suing the NCAA over its new rule allowing athletes five seasons in five years instead of four in five that begins with 2023 players. Harris and Wright, among others, received a temporary restraining order for another season last week by Baton Rouge 19th District Court Judge William Jorden.
And Harris wants to join his former teammate Wright at LSU with Kiffin, their former head coach who put the Rebels in the College Football Playoff last season at 11-1 (7-1 SEC) before taking the LSU job.

That is likely not all for Kiffin.
Former Ole Miss senior safety Wydett Williams, who played for Kiffin last season and is currently with the Arizona Cardinals in the NFL, also is part of the suing group receiving the temporary restraining order from Jorden and is also expected to come to LSU. Williams (6-2, 210 pounds) started 14 games last season ast safety and intercepted three passes with 13 pass breakups while making 73 tackles. Williams is also from Louisiana, having played at General Trass High in Lake Providence.
And don’t forget former LSU senior edge rusher Jack Pyburn, who made 52 tackles last season for LSU with two sacks and eight quarterback hurries. He is playing for the NFL Tampa Bay Bucs now and made three tackles in a preseason game on Saturday after collecting two sacks the previous week. But he has also entered the portal and may end up at LSU as well.
