At 6-foot-6 and 290 pounds, Lamb is the No. 189 junior college prospect in the nation by 247sports.com and No. 8 in South Carolina. He chose the Tigers over Alabama, Auburn and South Carolina, among others. He went to Beaufort High in Beaufort, South Carolina, before junior college.
Lamb is categorized in LSU’s 2026 high school signing class by 247sports.com and On3.com going into national signing day, part two, on Wednesday along with No. 15-ranked junior college offensive tackle JaKolby Jones (6-4, 285) of Copiah-Lincoln Community College in Wesson, Mississippi. Jones, who is from Many, committed to LSU on Jan. 8 and is also expected to sign on Wednesday.
Those two will join the No. 1 offensive tackle in the transfer portal at LSU in Jordan Seaton (6-5, 330), formerly of Colorado.
Lamb will complete his courses at Georgia Miltary College this spring before coming to LSU in May.
Kiffin signed 15 high school prospects during the first signing period in December in a class that is ranked No. 11 by 247sports.com. And he has three to add on Wednesday at the moment. The third is three-star safety commitment Jackson Williams of Shaw High in the New Orleans area.
