The No. 15 LSU Tigers will host back-to-back top 10 opponents in the Associated Press college football poll on consecutive weekends in Tiger Stadium for the first time in history beginning Saturday when No. 9 Alabama visits for a 2:30 p.m. game on ABC.
LSU (6-2, 3-2 Southeastern Conference) stayed at No. 15 in the Associated Press poll released Sunday, while Alabama (6-2, 4-2 SEC) climbed one spot. Both teams were open over the weekend.
No. 10 Texas (6-2, 3-2 SEC) jumped one spot to the top 10 after a 31-3 home win over Mississippi State on Saturday. The Longhorns will play in Tiger Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 14, for the first time since LSU upset then-No. 11 Texas, 20-7, on Sept. 19, 1953, in Tiger Stadium.

The Tigers beat No. 7 Ole Miss, 45-20, and No. 6 Alabama, 32-31, in overtime in back-to-back games in 2022, but the Ole Miss game was on Oct. 22 with the Alabama game on Nov. 5 after an open date.

LSU is a 4.5-point favorite for Saturday’s game.
Miami (8-0) remained No. 1 in the A.P. poll after a 38-35 win over North Carolina on Saturday. Ohio State, meanwhile, fell from No. 2 to No. 11 with a 30-18 loss at unranked USC as the Buckeyes (6-2) did not have starting quarterback Julian Sayin because of an arm and shoulder injury. USC jumped to No. 18 in the poll at 7-2.
Georgia (7-1) moved up to No. 2 from No. 3 after a 27-8 win over No. 17 Florida (5-3), which dropped to No. 25.
The rest of the top 10 had No. 3 Utah (8-0), No. 4 Notre Dame (7-1), No. 5 UCLA (8-0), No. 6 Indiana (8-1), No. 7 BYU (7-1), No. 8 Kentucky (7-1, 5-1 SEC) and Alabama at Texas at No. 9 and 10.
After Ohio State, the second 10 included No. 12 Ole Miss (6-2, 4-2 SEC), No. 13 Texas Tech, No. 14 Wake Forest, No. 15 LSU, No. 16 Tennessee (6-2, 3-2 SEC), which hosts LSU on Nov. 21, No. 17 Houston, No. 18 USC, No. 19 Missouri (6-2, 3-2 SEC) and No. 20 Boise State (7-1).
There are three new teams in the poll with No. 21 Iowa (6-2), No. 22 New Mexico (7-1), which is in the poll for the first time in history, and No. 23 South Carolina (5-3, 3-3 SEC). Arizona is 24th at 6-1 with Florida at No. 15.
The first College Football Playoff poll will be released on Tuesday (6 p.m., ESPN).
