The Lane Kiffin effect continues.
The third straight LSU football game so far has sold out. That is the LSU-Texas A&M game a week from Saturday in 102,321-seat Tiger Stadium (6:30 p.m., ABC) when the Tigers host the No. 9 Aggies (2-0).
No. 7 LSU (2-0) is at No. 8 Ole Miss (2-0) on Saturday (6:30 p.m., ABC) as coach Kiffin returns to the site of his former head coaching job.
LSU’s first two home games against Clemson on Sept. 5 and Louisiana Tech last Saturday both sold out. The LSU-Alabama game of Nov. 7 in Tiger Stadium is already sold out as is the LSU-Texas home game of Nov. 14. Alabama (2-0) is No. 10 in the latest Associated Press poll, while Texas (2-0) is No. 1.
LSU’s remaining home games not sold out yet are McNeese State on October 3 (6:45 p.m.) and Misissippi State on Oct. 17.
