LSU sophomore kicker Aeron Burrell has entered the transfer portal.
Burrell spent the last two seasons as the kickoff specialist for the Tigers. He was expected to take senior kicker Damian Ramos’ place next season as the starter, but the Bossier City, Louisiana, native is looking for a fresh start.

Burrell (6-foot-2, 90 pounds), was the No. 2 kicker in the nation and No. 72 player in Louisiana in the Class of 2024 by 247sports.com out of Parkway High.
With Ramos declaring for the NFL draft and Burrell exiting, the Tigers have no kickers on scholarship. Redshirt sophomore Aidan Corbello and freshman Sean Perret are walk-ons.
Ole Miss junior kicker Lucas Carneiro could enter the transfer portal after the Rebels’ season and reunite with LSU coach Lane Kiffin, his former coach at Ole Miss. Carneiro hit 27 of 30 field goals with a long of 56 yards and is 55-of-55 in extra points this season.
The Tigers could also go after Florida freshman kicker Evan Noel (6-1, 165), who was the No. 1 kicker in the nation last year out of St. Stanislaus High in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi.
