LSU sells out game with No. 1 Tennessee

The Pete Maravich Assembly Center will presumably be packed to the brim when the LSU basketball team hosts No. 1 Tennessee on Feb. 23 as the LSU ticket office announced the game sold out Thursday (Jan. 31).

The sellout comes in the midst of the No. 19 Tigers’ 10-game winning streak and a 7-0 start in the Southeastern Conference.

The Volunteers are the only other unbeaten team in SEC play at the time of the announcement, which comes more than three weeks before the two teams tip off at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 23.
