LSU will be spending its weekend in a potentially hurricane-ravaged Swamp after all.

Even with Hurricane Matthew descending on the Sunshine State, this Saturday’s LSU-Florida game remains set for 11 a.m. CT and will not be moved out of Gainesville, Florida announced through a release Wednesday afternoon.

Final decision will be made on a kickoff time at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium on Thursday afternoon as Florida and Southeastern Conference officials continue to monitor the storm’s progress.

Here’s the official release from Florida, which announced earlier Wednesday that the University’s campus, as well as several surrounding counties, will be closed Friday.
