The LSU baseball team goes on the road this weekend to play two exhibition games against Samford at Keesler Federal Park in Biloxi, Mississippi, as the Tigers have reached the halfway point of their fall practice period.

The Tigers play at 3 p.m. Saturday and 1 p.m. Sunday. Tickets for Saturday’s game may be purchased HERE, and tickets for Sunday’s game HERE. Keesler Federal Park, which seats 6,067 is the home of the Double-A minor league affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers, who just won their first World Series over the Tampa Bay Rays this week.

“We’re very excited to travel to Biloxi for the third straight year and compete,” LSU coach Jay Johnson said. “This will be quality game repetition that helps us develop our team.”

Johnson has 22 new players for the 2027 season.

“Getting them onto the field against a team in a different uniform is always a valuable experience,” Johnson said. “We’re excited to see our team in this environment and continue to evaluate our players on both sides of the ball.”

Johnson calls scrimmages “inexpensive experience,” meaning he can experiment with his team without suffering a loss that would count.

LSU will have two scrimmages at Alex Box Stadium – Nov. 8 against Troy at 1:30 p.m. and Nov. 13 against Southeastern Louisiana at a time to be determined.
