LSU’s wide receiving corps just got deeper.

Former Texas Tech receiver Jonathan Giles announced via Twitter Monday that he intends to transfer to the Tigers. Giles will redshirt the 2017 season and have two years of eligibility remaining starting in 2018.

The 5-foot-11 speedster caught 69 passes for 1,158 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns for the Red Raiders during his sophomore season. He announced a top three of LSU, Florida State and Oregon on May third before committing Monday.

The Tigers already landed a transfer from former Texas Tech earlier this year in defensive tackle Breiden Feheko. Giles’ announcement can be read below.
