LSU linebacker TJ Dottery has stepped up to lead the nation’s fourth-ranked defense (258.1 yards allowed per game) with senior Whit Weeks sidelined. The Ole Miss transfer leads the Tigers with 58 tackles this season, but he and the rest of the “Bayou Bandits” will face one of their biggest challenges all year as No. 9 Alabama (6-2, 4-2 Southeastern Conference) and dynamic Crimson Tide quarterback Keelon Russell make their way to Tiger Stadium on Saturday (2:30 p.m., ABC).
Dottery met with Baton Rouge reporters on Tuesday to discuss the big showdown with the Crimson Tide.
