After lengthy lightning delays, LSU and Clemson are set to kick off at 8:40 p.m. CT given no more delays until then.
The originally scheduled 6:49 p.m. kickoff was pushed back after repeated storms rolled through the Baton Rouge area. NCAA rules require a 30-minute delay when lighting is detected within 6-8 miles of the stadium. The Tiger Stadium Public Announcer gave the news of an ended weather delay to a roaring Death Valley crowd that braved the weather.
