LSU sophomore right tackle Weston Davis walked to the locker room on crutches with an apparent right ankle injury during the third quarter of the LSU-Alabama game.

Davis was injured on a first-and-10 from the LSU 26 with 7:35 left in the third quarter. The play resulted in a 32-yard acrobatic catch by wide receiver Jackson Harris, but Davis had his ankle rolled up on by an LSU teammate behind the line of scrimmage.

He entered the medical tent and emerged on crutches, barefoot before heading to the locker room. Baylor transfer Sean Thompkins Jr. replaced Davis, and the Tigers went on to finish the drive with a 5-yard touchdown run by running back Dilin Jones to take a 13-10 lead – their first of the game.
