TIGER RAG NEWS SERVICES
LSU defensive coordinator Blake Baker said starting linebacker TJ Dottery was cleared to play Saturday night at Ole Miss after being listed as a game time decision on the final availability report released at about 5 p.m. Saturday before No. 7 LSU and No. 8 Ole Miss kicked off at 6:50 p.m., WBRZ reported.
Dottery then started the game. He had been listed on each of LSU’s Southeastern Conference availability reports released on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. He was seen getting off of the LSU plane in Memphis, Tennessee, with a boot on his left foot on Friday, but was on the field at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium Saturday for warmups.
Dottery transferred to LSU from Ole Miss with coach Lane Kiffin last off-season. Through his first two games as a Tiger, he led the team with 14 tackles and two forced fumbles.
