LSU senior linebacker Whit Weeks has picked up right where he left off. After a 2025 limited by injuries, Weeks and new linebacker partner TJ Dottery have led the nation’s most dominant defense through the first two games of the 2026 season. The duo have combined for 26 tackles despite their limited snap counts thanks to the numerous three-and-outs the “Bayou Bandits” have forced this season.

Weeks spoke with reporters about the defense’s historic success and the team’s preparation for its trip to No. 8 Ole Miss on Saturday.
