Former LSU forward Amiya Joyner is entering the transfer portal, per on3.com. Joyner was one of the 30 athletes given a fifth season of eligibility and allowed to enter the portal by a temporary restraining order issued by Baton Rouge 19th District Court Judge William Jorden.

Joyner signed a professional contract with the Greensboro Groove in the UPShot Pro League before leaving the team midseason. The TRO allows for athletes who have signed pro deals to return to college athletics provided they terminate the contract and repay any money they have already received.

Joyner appeared in 34 games and made 19 starts in her lone season at LSU. She averaged 9.2 points per game while shooting 59.7% from the floor and led the team in rebounding, grabbing 7.5 boards per game.

She is no stranger to the transfer portal after using it to come to LSU from East Carolina, where she played her first three collegiate seasons.
