Preseason camp is in full swing for LSU football, but the biggest question for the Tigers as week two comes to a close may be off the field. LSU coach Lane Kiffin declined the opportunity to address reports of a cease-and-desist letter LSU received from Heisman Trophy-winning quarterback Jayden Daniels following sophomore cornerback DJ Pickett’s switch to No. 5.
It was Kiffin’s third media appearance since kicking off fall practice on Aug. 5. The offense has continued to build chemistry around quarterback Sam Leavitt while the defense looks to take another step heading into year three under coordinator Blake Baker. The Tigers will have their first scrimmage of preseason practice Saturday. Kiffin answered questions from local media live from the Team Room at LSU Football Ops.
