LSU earns commitment from DE Alec Bryant

LSU added another defensive lineman to its prospective 2020 ranks in four-star defensive end Alec Bryant, who tweeted out his commitment on Monday night.

Bryant, a 6-foot-3, 230-pound lineman out of Pearland, Texas, has a 0.9362 Composite rating by 247Sports, and he also recieved offers from Oklahoma, Kansas State, Michigan State and Nebraska. Vanderbilt and Arkansas were the only other Southeastern Conference teams to extend an offer.

The commitment comes just two days after California defensive tackle Jordan Berry made his intentions known, making Bryant the second lineman LSU has picked up in the span of three days.

According to 247Sports Composite ratings, Bryant is the No. 9 weak-side defense end in the country.
