Starters Saahdiq Charles, Michael Divinity won’t play against Southeastern

Starting left tackle Saahdiq Charles and outside linebacker Michael Divinity won’t play in LSU’s home opener against Southeastern, a source confirmed to Tiger Rag.

LSU won’t make an official comment on Charles, Divinity or any other players who aren’t dressed out for the opener, but it appears both are suspended. Neither player were present as LSU went through pre-game warm-ups. Injured players typically stand on the field in street clothes.

Austin Deculus worked at left tackle with the first-team offensive line during full-team drills. Ray Thornton will likely start at the ‘F’ linebacker spot while Andre Anthony starts in place of the injured K’Lavon Chaisson at the ‘Buck.’

On the injury side of things, Greedy Williams was dressed out and worked with the first-team defense, as expected. Williams practiced in a yellow non-contact jersey on Wednesday.

Safeties Todd Harris and Eric Monroe and tight end Thaddeus Moss were not dressed out and are out for the game.
