Practice Report: Oct. 10

Things remained relatively usual at practice for the third straight day at LSU’s football practice Wednesday afternoon.

Linebacker Jacob Phillips continued to workout unimpeded after missing Saturday’s game against Florida, tight end Thaddeus Moss could be seen working out with tight ends for the third straight day and wide receiver Dee Anderson continued to remain absent.

Moss is yet to play a snap for LSU this season. It looked as though he was going to get some playing time ahead of the Louisiana Tech game a few weeks back, but head coach Ed Orgeron changed course a day after saying he expected him to be ready, putting him back on the shelf.

Since then he has appeared at practice sporadically, so it should be interesting to see if he suits up against Georgia.

Jontre Kirklin, listed as a cornerback on the roster, continued to work out with the wide receivers as Orgeron and the coaching staff look for a way to get him involved.

Otherwise, everyone expected to play this weekend against No. 2 Georgia seemed to be in normal form, with no gold non-contact jerseys on players that wouldn’t normally wear them.
