LSU freshman offensive lineman Donavaughn Campbell has been suspended from the team following an arrest over the weekend, team spokesman Michael Bonnette confirmed via text to Tiger Rag on Tuesday.

Records show that Campbell was arrested on the campus of Georgia Tech — where his brother Christian plays football — early Sunday morning. He was charged with two counts of battery, according to a report from Fox8 in New Orleans.

According to the report, one of the victims told campus police he was punched in the head and face by two men. Campbell, along with Georgia Tech safety Jalen Johnson, were arrested Oct. 30, according to the report.

Campbell came to LSU as a four-star signee out of Ponchatoula. He’s played in three games with zero starts this season, working as a reserve at both right and left guard. He last appeared against Southern Miss.
